Abstract
Foreign publications are included, although the majority of the entries are from Canada and the United States. Most entries were published in the 1970's. Subjects include evolution of the policewoman's role, women in law enforcement, women in patrol, problems of women police, characteristics of policewomen, new opportunities for women in police work, and status and functions of women police officers. The bibliography is not annotated.
