Abstract
THE FOCUS OF THE ADDRESSES WAS ON THE HISTORY OF POLICE EDUCATION AND THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE TO THE POLICEMAN. IN THE DISCUSSION GROUPS ATTENTION WAS FOCUSED ON CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT, RELATIONS BETWEEN COLLEGES AND THE POLICE COMMUNITY, AND THE ROLE AND OBLIGATION OF A POLICE SCIENCE DEGREE PROGRAM. THE INFORMATION AND SUGGESTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS REPORT CAN PROVIDE A USEFUL TOOL FOR THOSE INVOLVED IN POLICE EDUCATION. (AUTHOR MODIFIED)
