Abstract
AMONG THE PROBLEMS DISCUSSED ARE THE AMOUNT OF TIME A POLICEMAN MUST DEVOTE TO HIS JOB, PUBLIC DISLIKE FOR POLICE, PROFESSIONAL AND EMOTIONAL STRAINS ON THE POLICE OFFICER, FINANCIAL PROBLEMS, AND FEAR FOR THE SAFETY OF THE POLICE OFFICER.
