Abstract
THE SEMINAR, ATTENDED BY EXPERTS, EXPERIENCED INVESTIGATORS, FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL REPRESENTATIVES, WAS DIVIDED INTO FOUR PARTS. THE FIRST SECTION OF PAPERS PRESENTS GENERAL BACKGROUND ON PHOTOGRAPHIC DOCUMENTATION, INFORMATION ABOUT EQUIPMENT, AND AN OVERVIEW OF THE GENERAL APPROACH TO VIDEOTAPE AND PHOTOGRAPHIC DOCUMENTATION. THE SECOND SECTION CONCERNS PRACTICAL APPLICATION, PRESENTED FROM THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AND MEDICOLEGAL STANDPOINTS AND INCLUDES SPECIAL INTEREST AREAS AS BANK ROBBERY PICTURE INTERPRETATION AND CROWD SURVEILLANCE. DOCUMENTATION OF EVIDENCE, THE THIRD SECTION, IS COVERED FROM THE LABORATORY STANDPOINT OF SCENE-INVESTIGATION, INLABORATORY DOCUMENTATION, AND POSTMORTEM ROOM DOCUMENTATION; ALSO DESCRIBED ARE THE USE OF DIAGRAMATIC AND ILLUSTRATIVE DOCUMENTATION, AND ART DETECTION AND DOCUMENTATION. THE PRESENTMENT OF EVIDENCE IS REVIEWED FROM THE LAW ENFORCEMENT, MEDICOLEGAL, AND LEGAL ANGLES.
