Abstract
PART 1, THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM, CONTAINS AN OVERVIEW OF PROBLEMS OF THE SYSTEM, SEVERAL ARTICLES ON THE OPERATION OF THE COURT SYSTEM, SUGGESTIONS FOR ARREST ALTERNATIVES, AND SUGGESTIONS FOR JAIL AND PRISON SYSTEM REFORM. CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR IS THEN EXAMINED IN TERMS OF PERSONAL PATHOLOGY AND SOCIAL CAUSES.
