Abstract
IT ATTEMPTS TO ACQUAINT THE PRACTITIONER IN JUVENILE LAW, THE PARENTS OF A CHILD ACCUSED OF A VIOLATION OF THE LAW, TEACHERS, AND OTHERS WITH THE PA. JUVENILE ACT AND ITS RELATIONS TO THE SCHOOL CODE. THE BOOK DISCUSSES THE RIGHTS OF JUVENILES, JUVENILE HEARINGS, THE JURISDICTION OF THE COURTS, THE PROBATION DEPARTMENT, POST-HEARING MATTERS, AND THE FUTURE OF THE JUVENILE COURT SYSTEM. THE EMPHASIS IS ON JUVENILE DELINQUENCY, AND THE GOAL IS TO MAKE AVAILABLE A 'HOW TO DO IT' OUTLINE OF JUVENILE COURT PROCEDURES.
