AN ATTEMPT TO DETERMINE EFFICACY OF TREATMENT BY COMPARING EMPLOYMENT RECORDS OF PAROLEES ON PAROLE TO EMPLOYMENT RECORDS PRIOR TO INSTITUTIONAL COMMITMENT.
Abstract
A SURVEY OF 89 PAROLEES SHOWED THAT 77.5 PERCENT REMAINED EMPLOYED LONGER ON PAROLE THAN THEY HAD PRIOR TO ARREST. IN THIS STUDY, AN IMPROVED EMPLOYMENT RECORD IS USED AS AN INDICATOR OF IMPROVED SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT.
