Abstract
THESE TEAMS WORK IN RESPONDING TO SERVICE CALLS, AIDING REGULAR MOBILE PATROLS IN THEIR DUTIES, DETERRING CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AND CIVILIAN VICTIMIZATION, AND DEVELOPING BETTER COMMUNITY RELATIONS. THE PAC-TAC EXPERIMENT TAKES PLACE AT TIMES OF HIGH CRIME AND SERVICE CALL ACTIVITIES, IN EVENING HOURS, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.
