Abstract
Established by the OVC, the Office for Victims of Crime Resource Center (OVCRC) is a primary source of crime victim information. The OVCRC has direct access to the most comprehensive criminal justice library in the world, the National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) Research and Information Center. The OVCRC acquires more than 500 new documents for the NCJRS collection each year that cover such topics as American Indians and tribal justice, child victims, civil remedies, corrections, crime victim compensation, death notification and homicide, disabilities, elder abuse, the judiciary, law enforcement, health care and mental health care communities, prosecution, restitution, stalking, domestic violence, victim assistance, and victim rights. Annotated entries in the guide are organized according to these topics.
