This paper focuses on the role of the Secret Service in Hungary as part of the effort, along with that of the police, to address organized crime.
Abstract
Within the total crime pattern, organized crime involves the greatest danger. It is not accidental that the most dangerous crimes (drug trafficking, the trade in arms and explosives, and economic and financial crimes) take place within organized limits. The author explores enforcement issues from the perspective of practical reconnaissance work. The author is a the head of the Drug Enforcement Section of the National Police of Hungary
