This report presents the Fiscal Year 2012 Program Plan from the Office of Justice Programs.
Abstract
The Office of Justice Programs' (OJP) Fiscal Year 2012 Program Plan provides information on funding opportunities and new initiatives available from OJP. The plan contains the latest and most complete information about the resources available to fight crime, improve the criminal justice system in the United States, and provide assistance to victims of crime. The report is divided into nine sections: Section 1 - Initiatives to Address a Wide Range of Criminal and Juvenile Justice Issues; Section 2 - Breaking the Cycles of Mental Illness, Substance Abuse, and Crime; Section 3 - Preventing and Intervening in Juvenile Offending and Victimization; Section 4 - Managing Offenders To Reduce Recidivism and Promote Successful Reentry; Section 5 - Effective Interventions To Address Violence, Victimization, and Victims' Rights; Section 6 - Enhancing Law Enforcement Initiatives; Section 7 - Supporting Innovation in Adjudication; Section 8 - Advancing Technology To Prevent and Solve Crime; and Section 9 - Innovations in Justice Information Sharing. Each section provides a list of funding opportunities.
