Recently Ohio enacted comprehensive legislation concerning the alcohol impaired driving problem.
Abstract
The legislation significantly changes prior Ohio law. Judge Bender discusses the new statutory provisions from a judicial perspective with emphasis on the policy consideration underlying the new legislation and how the legislation may impact on the processing of driving under the influence eases through the court system. Forty-two footnotes and a questionnaire used in the study are provided. (Author abstract modified)
