Statistical data concern the number of delinquent offenses/detentions by age, race, sex, county, and offense type. The data collected are for official, unruly, and delinquency appearances before the county courts.
Abstract
The report includes traffic, dependency, child abuse, and other nondelinquency and unruly offense categories. Juveniles typically committed property and nonvictim offenses. They committed 8 percent fewer violent crimes in 1981 over 1980. Delinquency and unruly cases also decreased slightly.
