Abstract
THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED FURTHER RESEARCH INTO THE USE OF TELEPHONE RESERVE PANELS WHICH WOULD ALLOW JURORS TO GO TO THEIR REGULAR EMPLOYMENT SUBJECT TO ONE-HOUR NOTICE BY TELEPHONE THAT THEY WERE NEEDED. MOST OF THE FINDINGS WERE BASED UPON A QUESTIONNAIRE SUBMITTED TO 5000 JURORS IN NEW YORK CITY. A COPY OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE IS INCLUDED.
