DISCUSSION OF THE OPERATION AND COST OF AN ELECTRONIC PERIMETER PROTECTION SYSTEM (REFERRED TO AS 'EFF') BASED ON A SENSING TECHNIQUE FOR DETECTING HUMAN MOTION.
Abstract
THE SYSTEM CONSISTS OF A CONTROL UNIT AND A FENCE OF TWO WIRES KEPT AT SPRING TENSION. THE DETECTION FENCE CAN BE INSTALLED AROUND THE PERIMETER TO BE PROTECTED WITHOUT SITE LEVELING, HAS A 1,000-FOOT PERIMETER CAPACITY, OPERATES AROUND CORNERS WITHOUT LOSS OF DETECTION, CAN BE INSTALLED AS CLOSE AS TWO FEET TO A CHAIN LINK FENCE, IS NOT AFFECTED BY WEATHER CONDITIONS, BIRDS, OR WINDBLOWN OBJECTS, AND HAS A HIGH ANIMAL IMMUNITY.
