Crime in Nebraska increased 12 percent in 1979, compared to 1975.
Abstract
Compared to 1975, murder and manslaughter increased 2 percent, forcible rape increased 14 percent, robbery decreased 17 percent, felony assault decreased 11 percent, burglary increased 9 percent, larceny-theft increased 15 percent, and motor vehicle theft increased 20 percent. The report presents tabular and graphic data on crime trends, crime Index trends, crime and population comparisons, Index offenses, crimes of violence and crimes aganinst property, Nebraska arrests, officers killed and assaulted, law enforcement employee statistics, offenses and arrests by county, and agency participation.
