Abstract
Particular emphasis is given to the violent personal crimes of rape, robbery with assault, and simple and aggravated assault. Also covered are theft and personal larceny without contact. Commercial sector burglary and robbery rates are presented by type of business and annual receipts. For property crimes in the household sector, burglary, household larceny, and motor vehicle theft are covered. Relationships among victim variables and types of crime include breakdowns by victim's age, education, income, sex, marital status, occupation, and loss/expenses. Data on victim-offender relationships, perceived offender age and race, place of occurrence, and crime reporting are among others provided.
