THE FOLLOWING TRENDS IN HEALTH CARE SECURITY ARE IDENTIFIED AND DISCUSSED: TRAINING SPECIFICALLY FOR HOSPITAL SECURITY, HIGHLY EFFICIENT PUBLIC RELATIONS PROGRAMS, AND BETTER PAID PROPRIETARY SECURITY STAFFS.
Abstract
ALSO CONSIDERED IS THE EXPANSION INTO SECURITY RELATED SERVICES, SUCH AS ESCORTS FOR FEMALES AND/OR ELDERLY PATIENTS; THE HANDLING OF HOSPITAL SAFETY AND FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAMS BY SECURITY OFFICERS; AND THE SECURITY DEPARTMENT SUPPORT OF DIRECT PATIENT CARE (FOR EXAMPLE, HANDLING DISTURBED PATIENTS OR ADMINISTERING CARDIO-PULMONARY RESUSCITATION).
