Detection of electronic eavesdropping from a counter-measures engineer's point of view is reviewed.
Abstract
Two broad areas of threat are discussed: traditional and modern/future. Modern communications technology is changing so fast that communications are becoming ever more vulnerable to eavesdropping. Radio bugs and wired room bugs including telephone bugs, telephone taps, and carrier current bugs are analyzed. (Author abstract modified)
