ORGANIZATION AND INTERACTION OF THE COMMUNITY WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR IMPROVED CORRECTIONS.
Abstract
GENERAL BACKGROUND, STATISTICS AND SURVEY STATISTICS ARE REVIEWED. THE NEEDS AND A MASTER PLAN FOR IMPROVEMENT OF CORRECTIONS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ARE PRESENTED. SPECIFIC CONCERNS AND PERCEIVED ROLES OF THE VARIOUS LAW ENFORCEMENT, CORRECTIONS, GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY AND PUBLIC PERSONS IS SUMMARIZED. RELATIONSHIPS ARE COVERED BETWEEN LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES AND THE SOCIAL WELFARE SYSTEM WITH THE POTENTIAL CLIENTS OF THE CORRECTIONAL SYSTEM. THE MANAGEMENT SCIENCES AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS TO IMPROVE CORRECTIONS ARE REVIEWED. STRATEGY FOR A CHANGE IS EVALUATED WITH PERCEPTURAL MODELS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PILOT PROJECTS FOR CONTINUED EVALUATION ARE RECOMMENDED. BIBLIOGRAPHY.
