INCIDENCE OF DRUG USAGE AND ATTITUDES TOWARD DRUG USAGE OF STATE TRAINING SCHOOL BOYS FROM RURAL, URBAN, AND METROPOLITAN AREAS OF MINNESOTA.
Abstract
THE SAMPLE CONSISTS OF 114 BOYS FROM THE RED WING TRAINING SCHOOL. BOYS WERE GROUPED INTO NON-USER, EXPERIMENTER, AND USER CATEGORIES BASED ON THEIR RESPONSES. USERS WERE RESPONDENTS WHO INDICATED THAT THEY HAD USED AT LEAST ONE PARTICULAR DRUG FIVE OR MORE TIMES. THE RESULTS INDICATE THAT A LARGE PROPORTION OF RED WING YOUTHS AS WELL AS THEIR FRIENDS USE DRUGS. THE SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE IS APPENDED.
