This annual report highlights the activities of Maryland's Judicial Services Administration (JSA) and presents statistics of budget expenditures during fiscal year 1980.
Abstract
Each branch of the JSA is described, including juvenile court services, community services, and institutional services. Extensive tables present data on expenditures made and cases processed by each branch. A glossary of terms, a flow chart of case referrals, an organizational chart, and other illustrations are included. Information on Federal grants is appended. During 1980, the JSA continued to enhance the quality of its components of delinquency prevention, court, community, and institutional services. A number of programs, such as victim assistance, foster grandparent, and structured shelter care programs, are being developed. The JSA has completed an investigation of the use of group home resources, has continued its efforts to develop a program on interagency services, and has conducted an indepth study of intake screening decisionmaking.
