Abstract
The report is divided into four sections: a detailed report of 1988 referrals, 1984-88 referrals, first-time offenders, and juveniles detained. Each section contains a number of tables describing the juveniles in terms of basic characteristics such as age, sex, ethnicity, type of offense charged, etc. The detailed report includes the first breakdowns of activities during 1988, such as recidivism of first-time offenders, hearings held, and dispositions of referrals.
