PROJECT TO DEVELOP A COMPUTER-BASED INTEGRATED MUNICIPAL INFORMATION SYSTEM OF WHICH THE PRIMARY IMPETUS IS THE THE PUBLIC SAFETY INFORMATION SYSTEM (PSIS).
Abstract
THE OVERALL PSIS PROJECT HAS A TOTAL OF FIVE SUBSYSTEMS OF WHICH CASE REPORTING IS THE SECOND TO BE IMPLEMENTED. THESE SUBSYSTEMS WILL BE INTEGRATED TO SHARE DATA AND AUTOMATICALLY CORRELATE SELECTED INFORMATION. DESCRIBED ARE PATROL AND INVESTIGATIVE APPLICATIONS AS WELL AS SYSTEM OPERATIONS INCLUDING POLICE REPORT RECEIPT FORMS AND INQUIRY KEY WORDS USED IN RETRIEVING INFORMATION.
