PRISON LIFE, AS SEEN BY INMATES, IS DETAILED AND THE PROBLEMS IN IMPROVING THE SITUATION ARE REVIEWED. EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON ADEQUATE FACILITIES, MEANINGFUL REHABILITATION AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND SUPPORTIVE AFTERCARE ACTIVITIES.
