A list of personnel contacts in the Canadian and U.S. justice systems is provided to facilitate communication between personnel involved with justice information and statistics.
Abstract
The organizations served by Canadian personnel are briefly described. Personnel are listed for the following Canadian Federal-Provincial organizations: the Justice Information Council, the Implementation Work Group, Federal/Provincial liaison contacts, the National Work Group, and the Federal-Provincial Steering Committee. Federal organizations for which personnel are listed are Statistics Canada, Department of Justice, Ministry of the Solicitor General, Correctional Services of Canada, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and Health and Welfare. Other personnel serving Canadian Provinces and territories are also listed. Selected U.S. personnel are listed alphabetically by name, along with the agencies or organizations they serve. Telephone numbers are provided. The personnel and phone numbers listed are current for 1980.
