PRACTICING LAWYERS MIGHT LOOK TO THE ENGLISH AND CANADIAN PROGRAMS OF APPRENTICESHIP AS ONE WAY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LEGAL EDUCATION.
Abstract
THE LAWYER IS AWARE OF HIS RESPONSIBILITY IN THE AREA OF LEGAL EDUCATION, BUT HE LACKS FACTUAL INFORMATION ON THE SUBJECT. TO ENSURE THE QUALITY OF LEGAL EDUCATION, THE ORGANIZED BAR MUST OBTAIN THE MOST ACCURATE POSSIBLE PICTURE OF THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE LEGAL EDUCATION PROCESS. WHAT IS NEEDED IS A COMPREHENSIVE, CONTEMPORARY EMPIRICAL STUDY OF LEGAL EDUCATION IN THE UNITED STATES.
