This report presents data on Part I and Part II offenses in King County, Washington for 1989 as well as data on various police activities.
Abstract
A crime summary table presents 1988 and 1989 data on each Part I offense, indicating the number of each offense, percentage change from the previous year, number of cases cleared, and the percentage cleared. Aggregate statistics are provided for both Part I and Part II offenses. Summary data for police activity address both 1988 and 1989. Activities include responses by patrol, marine, traffic, and K-9 units; calls for service; adult arrests by King County Police; traffic enforcement; marine services/enforcement; criminal warrants; civil proceedings; and officers assaulted. The body of the report contains data on Part I and Part II offenses by patrol district. In addition to a detailed presentation of data contained in the summary tables, the remainder of the report presents statistics on adult arrests in unincorporated King County, juvenile arrests and dispositions, hostage negotiations team activity, TAC-30 team activity, special assault unit activities, M.A.R.R. unit activities, CCPU unit activity, and the internal investigations unit.
