This report describes the programs and activities of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children during fiscal year 1992-93.
Abstract
Services include a national, toll-free hotline, case management by former law enforcement and social service professionals, mapping and analyzing information for law enforcement agencies, distribution of photographs of missing children, volunteer services by retired police officers, and a child pornography tipline. The Center also provides education and advocacy, including legal and legislative assistance, safety lessons for children, family education, and child videotapes. The center also works with other agencies, include the National Crime Information Center, law enforcement agencies, and agencies in other countries and conducts outreach efforts.
