Abstract
There are some unscrupulous "carnies" who hide behind the good image of the institution and prey upon unsuspecting and guillible carnival goers. This guide contains tips for police who must inspect carnivals: know your local politics, know your business, know your prosecutor, know your carnivals, know some carny talk, know your plan of action, know your carnies--and finally, know your games.
