Abstract
REQUIREMENTS FOR RECORDKEEPING BY VARIOUS STATE AGENCIES, COURTS, AND DEPARTMENTS, TOGETHER WITH THE STANDARDS FOR VARIOUS ASPECTS OF CRIMINAL RECORDS HANDLING, ARE DISCUSSED. ALL ASPECTS OF THE DISSEMINATION OF CRIMINAL HISTORY INFORMATION ARE PRESENTED, INCLUDING THE CATEGORIES, KINDS OF DATA, DISSEMINATION AGREEMENTS, AND THE RELEVANT FORMS USED IN DISSEMINATION. PROCEDURES FOR SECURITY OF RECORDS AND INDIVIDUAL RIGHT TO ACCESS ARE ALSO TREATED. THE FORMS USED IN FULFILLING RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS ARE GROUPED TOGETHER FOR QUICK REFERENCE, PRECEDED BY EXPLANATIONS OF THE USE OF EACH FORM.
