JUVENILE COURTS SHOULD HAVE JURISDICTION OVER YOUNG (UNDER 18) TRAFFIC OFFENDERS, TO GIVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF SPECIAL INTAKE AND JUDICIAL PROCEDURES.
Abstract
SINCE SOME JUVENILE TRAFFIC OFFENDERS HAVE SERIOUS BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS, THE COUNCIL OF JUDGES SUGGESTS THAT THE SCREENING PROCESS IN JUVENILE COURTS BE UTILIZED TO SELECT THOSE JUVENILE OFFENDERS WHO NEED TO RECEIVE THE COMPLETE JUVENILE COURT PROCEDURE.
