Abstract
AMONG THE AUTHOR'S RECOMMENDATIONS ARE CLOSER COORDINATION OF YOUTH POLICY-MAKING BETWEEN GOVERNMENT, COURTS AND POLICE AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGIONAL OR LOCAL YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEES TO ADVISE GOVERNMENT, COURTS AND POLICE AND ALL INSTITUTIONS CONCERNED WITH THE PROTECTION OF YOUNG PEOPLE. HE ALSO RECOMMENDS THAT MEMBERS OF THE CHILDREN'S POLICE BE TRAINED TO BECOME THE SPECIALISTS WHO ARE INDISPENSABLE IN THE BROAD FIELD OF YOUTH POLICY. --IN DUTCH
