Abstract
THIS SERIES WAS PREPARED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A JOINT COMMISSION ON JUVENILE JUSTICE STANDARDS APPOINTED BY THE INSTITUTE OF JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION AND THE AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION. THE STANDARDS ARE INTENDED TO SERVE AS GUIDELINES FOR ACTION BY LEGISLATORS, JUDGES, ADMINISTRATORS, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE AGENCIES, LOCAL CIVIC GROUPS, AND OTHERS CONCERNED WITH THE TREATMENT OF YOUTHS.
