STATISTICS REPRESENT THE VOLUME OF CHILDREN'S CASES DISPOSED OF BY JUVENILE COURTS.
Abstract
THESE INDICATE HOW FREQUENTLY THE COURT IS UTILIZED IN DEALING WITH DELINQUENCY CASES. THE DATA REFLECTS THE TYPE OF OFFENSE COMMITTED, THE SEX RATIO OF OFFENDERS AND THE MANNER IN WHICH THE CASE WAS HANDLED. THESE FACTORS COMBINE TO DEMONSTRATE THE TRENDS OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY. DEPENDENCY AND NEGLECT CASES ARE ALSO DISCUSSED.
