CHARACTERISTICS AND IMPACT OF PROGRAMS THAT ASSIST IN TRANSFORMING A LEGALLY TRAINED INDIVIDUAL INTO AN EFFECTIVE AND COMPETENT JURIST.
Abstract
PROGRAMS ARE NEEDED TO INSURE A JUDICIARY COMPOSED OF DILIGENT, UNBIASED AND COMPETENT JUDGES TO FULLY IMPLEMENT THE OBJECTIVE OF EFFECTIVE JUSTICE, BECAUSE THE AMERICAN SYSTEM OF LEGAL EDUCATION PROVIDES NO CURRICULUM FOR TRAINING IN JUDICIAL METHODS AND TECHNIQUES. PROJECTS HAVE BEEN INITIATED TO EDUCATE THE JURIST AND TO PERMIT A SMOOTH TRANSITION FROM CITIZEN TO JUDGE.
