REPORT DISCUSSES NEED FOR BETTER ADMINISTRATION TO COORDINATE OPERATIONS OF TENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT IN KANSAS.
Abstract
GROWING PAINS ACCOMPANYING A 53 PERCENT POPULATION GROWTH IN JOHNSON COUNTY FROM 1960 TO 1970 HAVE BROUGHT ABOUT A CORRESPONDING NUMBER OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROBLEMS. THEY MOSTLY CONCERN THE INTEGRATION OF JUDICIAL FUNCTIONS, AND THE UNIFICATION OF THE COURT'S OPERATIONS INVOLVING RECORD-KEEPING AND PERSONNEL RESPONSIBILITY. RECOMMENDATIONS INCLUDE IMPROVING THE EXISTING MANUAL RECORD SYSTEM, DEVELOPMENT OF RECORDS PERSONNEL, AND EXPANSION OF COMPUTERIZATION TO OTHER COURTS AND OTHER COURT FISCAL OPERATIONS....BS
