Abstract
(PAYS) ASSIGNS UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICERS TO HIGH SCHOOLS ON A YEARLY BASIS. UNDER THE PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE ADMINISTRATION, THE OFFICERS PRESENT LECTURES AND DISCUSSIONS OF THE LAW AS IT PERTAINS TO STUDENTS AND HOLD COUNSELING SESSIONS IN THOSE AREAS WHERE A POLICEMAN WOULD HAVE HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS.
