Interpol was founded in 1923 in order to facilitate international police communication. Since that time, its activities have given rise to a number of different perceptions concerning its effectiveness and security.
Abstract
This article examines the literature on Interpol, paying special attention to various treatments of the relationship between the organization and its member countries. (Publisher abstract)
