Abstract
The text is intended for use by professors, students, and others interested in learning how the criminal justice community is using the Internet for information access and communication. Individual sections explain the main Internet browsers for obtaining access to information, the Internet communication tools such as listserv mailing lists and Internet videoconferencing, and the use of search tools and search engines to find information and resources on the Internet. Additional sections list major criminal justice Web sites in the areas of crime; crime prevention; criminal justice agencies; courts; drugs, alcohol, and crime; juvenile delinquency and juvenile justice; law enforcement; corrections; research and evaluation; terrorism, militias, cults, and bombers; criminal justice listserv mailing lists; and criminal justice usenet newsgroups.
