This manual is intended to assist inmates understand the daily operations, programs, rules, and regulations of the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Intensive Confinement Center, a correctional alternative for female offenders established on July 6, 1992.
Abstract
The Intensive Confinement Center is a satellite of the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan. Its staff includes correctional instructors, a psychologist, a drug treatment specialist, physical trainers, and others. The schedule from Monday through Saturday begins at 5 a.m. and includes a flag ceremony; formation drill; uniform preparation; meal periods lasting from 30 to 40 minutes each; and morning, afternoon, and evening programming. Part of the programming consists of maintenance and tree removal tasks for the United States Forest Service. The guidelines cover the disciplinary program, the work program, food service, education, medical services, physical training, psychological services, drug treatment, personal appearance, locker display, bed display, drill and ceremonies.
