This report presents statistics on inmate and parole populations in California, including admissions and releases to correctional facilities and parole entries and releases from September 1992 through September 1993.
Abstract
Monthly data are provided regarding male and female offenders and offenders of different races. Results revealed that nearly 10,000 offenders entered California institutions each month, and just over 9,100 were released each month. An average of 8,305 offenders were received in the parole system each month, and 8,366 were released from parole each month. Tables
