Abstract
Insider protection activities have been fairly successful in the past; however, present societal conditions require increased protection to further minimize the existence of an insider or insider perpetrated incident. Integration of insider protection techniques into existing administrative and operational procedures has had economic and operational impact. Experience in such areas as operational test, developmental equipment evaluation, and new facility designs has led to developments for mitigating the insider threat while minimizing adverse impacts on site operations. These general principles and technologies which implement the principles will be discussed. 3 figures, 1 reference (Author abstract modified)
