This report describes United Nations activities in crime prevention and criminal justice carried out in accordance with legislative mandates and obligations of the Secretariat under the biennial program budget, covering the period from November 1989 through December 1991.
Abstract
The activities focused on crime prevention policy in the context of development, the analysis of crime trends, the assessment of crime prevention strategies, guidelines and standards in crime prevention and criminal justice, and technical cooperation through interregional advisory services. Further activities included program coordination meetings, cooperation with other United Nations activities, and cooperation with scientific and professional organizations. Notes
