This annual report contains information on the work of the Juvenile Division of the Huron County (OH) Common Pleas Court. Data are presented on Community Placements, Detention Costs; Youth Committed to the Department of Youth Services; Comparison of Complaints Docketed; Disposition of Abused, Neglected, and Dependent Children; Violations Charged; Sources of Complaints; and Residences, Ages, and Dispositions of Delinquent, Unruly, and Traffic Offenders. Information is presented on the court's mission and approach, which is guided by the values of community protection, accountability, competency, and individualization. Information is also presented on court services that include internships, a study group program, mediation, an intervention court, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), the community service-learning program, and the Reach Our Youth (ROY) program.
