Horizontal scoring is a new method for analyzing charts, which organizes reactions in sequence from the strongest to the weakest, in each channel, on each chart.
Abstract
It gives the largest number to the strongest reaction, and gives numbers in descending order to other reactions, until the weakest is reached which receives a value of one. Cumulative totals for all of the control questions are compared with cumulative totals for all of the relevant questions on all the charts. Cut-off scores are based on empirical evidence from six years of experience. (Author abstract)
