Abstract
THIS REPORT INCLUDES RESULTS FROM A QUESTIONNAIRE TO STUDENTS ON THEIR PARTICIPATION IN AND REASONS FOR THE COMMISSION OF ACTS OF VANDALISM, A QUESTIONNAIRE TO ADULTS ON THEIR VIEWS TOWARDS VANDALISM AND PENALTIES FOR VANDALISM, AND A SURVEY OF STUDENTS ON WAYS OF COMBATTING VANDALISM. ALSO INCLUDED ARE STATEMENTS FROM LOCAL OFFICIALS ON THE EXTENT OF VANDALISM, THE QUESTION OF VANDALISM IN GENERAL, AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS, AND A SURVEY OF ALL THE VISIBLE DAMAGE IN BURTON-UPON-TRENT ATTRIBUTABLE TO VANDALISM. ALSO FEATURED ARE POETRY AND PROSE TRACTS WRITTEN BY THE STUDENTS.
