The three-volume handbook describes numerous human resource planning and analytical techniques, gives directions for their use, and provides examples of their application in criminal justice agencies. It also outlines special techniques to assist management in identifying, diagnosing, and eventually resolving personnel problems. Appended to the executive summary is the complete table of contents for all three volumes of the handbook as well as an index to the entire publication. For the three volumes, see NCJ 86367-69.
