Abstract
THE FOCUS OF ATTENTION WAS ON STUDENT USAGE PATTERNS OF TOBACCO, ALCOHOL, MARIHUANA, LSD, GLUE, NARCOTICS, STIMULANTS, HALLUCINOGENS, AND DEPRESSANTS. QUESTIONS REGARDING PATTERNS OF USE CONCERNED CURRENT USE, HISTORY OF USE, AND PLANS FOR FUTURE USE. ATTITUDINAL QUESTIONS DEALT WITH ATTITUDES TOWARD LEGAL CONTROLS AND INFORMATION SOURCES ABOUT DRUGS. THE DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES STUDIED INCLUDED SEX, AGE, RELIGION, MARITAL STATUS, SPENDING MONEY, RACE, PARENTAL DRUG USE AND ATTITUDES, TYPE OF LIVING ARRANGEMENT, AND CLASS STANDING. APPENDED MATERIAL INCLUDES NUMEROUS TABLES OF DATA ANALYZED BY ITEM AND THE QUESTIONNAIRE THAT WAS USED IN THE SURVEY.
