This report from Georgia's Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) describes the activities of the State's Judicial Council, the AOC, and the State's courts and related judicial agencies.
Abstract
Caseloads and numbers of dispositions are listed for the appellate, superior, State, probate, juvenile, and other courts. The report also covers the activities of the Board of Court Reporting, the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education, the Georgia Indigent Defense Council, the judicial administrative district, the Judicial Nominating Commission, the Judicial Qualifications Commission, the Prosecuting Attorney's Council, Superior Courts Sentence Review Panel, the Council of Juvenile Court Judges, and Georgia Justice Courts Training Council. Fiscal year 1981 was characterized by reorganization, reduced staffing, and curtailment of services of AOC due to funding cuts.
